Good work Spec, I have kept my eye out but not seen any workout scheduled yet, Robinson is a dark horse for #24, Daniels would be good value at #46

P.J Hairston will be here June 4 per Jeff Goodman

P.J. Hairston will work out for Miami tomorrow, Phoenix (Thursday), Boston (June 3) and Charlotte (June 4), source told ESPN.

Followed by Jimmy Spencer and 3 others

Duke's Andre Dawkins has an upcoming workout with the Charlotte Hornets, according to his agent.

C.J. Fair will work out for Chicago on Wednesday, Milwaukee on Thursday and Charlotte on Friday.

Also, Nik Stauskas is yet to schedule workouts yet

Dawkins at the 46 spot might be interesting. He can flat out shoot the jumper but I just don't see him being much more than a 3 pt specialist.

If we make a pick other than a 2 guard with #9, I would sure love to see Hairston fall to #24 for us.

GRIII would be great value in the 2nd but is he worth that #24...maybe, maybe not.

Thanks for posting the workout updates guys. I appreciate it!

Still think Hairston is over rated by some around here even though I'm a (quasi) Tar Heels fan. That said, I think he's not there by 24. However I really dig GR3 and it would be pretty rad if we brought in two Wolverine players (if we drafted Staukuas too) as almost a tandem promotional wise.

Or we end up with Gary Harris and A. Payne (both of Michigan State) . The Michigan State tandem would add more talent to our team. The Hornets may end up adding a few Wolverine or Spartan fans to their base.

This should be interesting to watch IMO. We brought in Beal, MKG and TRob two years ago and picked MKG. We brought in Len and Cody last year and picked Zeller. I assume we'll know who we're choosing from, outside of a European player, based on whom the media reports were giving workouts to. Question will be 9 vs. 24 but otherwise I think this should be telling.

Adam42R...I think you're correct that Cho will bring in the guy he's thinking of picking for a workout. What would not surprise me is to see more guys brought in this year than previous years. I'm speaking to the "auditions" for #9...of course we'll have more because we have two first but I think there is such a cluster around #9 that it will be interesting to say the least.

I would still love to pair up Staus and GRIII. Lots of chemistry in college, both have games that will translate well to the NBA. GRIII would be a great back-up SF, and if MKG doesn't get his offense together, he could end up being a good starter. He has a really nice shooting stroke, and he plays very good defense.

GR3 doesnt do it for me. Would much rather have Payton.

What I am getting at is that "doing it for you" or not, if we're not bringing in a guy for a workout and he's stateside, likely we aren't drafting him.

Very, very happy we have GR3 for a work-out. At least means that we're considering him and keeps my hopes alive. Man I so hope we're taking that Staus/GR3 tandem..

Yeah, my first choice is drafting Staus at 9 and using the 24th pick and some other pieces to move up in the draft to grab Payne. After that, I'd love the Staus/GRIII tandem.

I am not even sure GR3 is better than Taylor.

Give me Payton at 24 all day.

Yes, as you have previously stated in this thread.

And no one is sure about anything. It's the draft. Andrew Wiggins might end up averaging 7 PPG for all we know. None of us have crystal balls. We just scout, learn, and make educated guesses about players. Some people do more than others.

        Great post Spectre ,,thanks,,

All these guys look to be in the #24  and #45 range

Makes me think we looking to use the 9th in a trade,.

We may be looking to make a run for Love  Sac town is with the 8th pick

Something like 9th 2015 First unprotected  , Biz , Zeller. Or something like that

Just saying we would not be looking at that many wings to draft if  we thinking of signing one  in free agency or trade. Makes you think we looking to  use the pick to get a big.

Well, since Lillard was drafted in 2012, I don't think many people were scouting him at all last year to begin with.

Lillard was unanimously considered one of the best prospects in the draft before the 2012 draft, including here. Everyone knew he was going to be special. Most people also knew what year he was being drafted.

I am talking number 1 or 2 good. All Star out the gate good. No one was claiming that. And if so please give me some links. Only I was saying ON HERE, that Lillard was the best player RIGHT NOW in the draft prior to the draft.

If everyone thought that he wouldnt have been selected 6 or 7th or what ever number it was.

FWIW, I did but a fight broke out over who's more right on where Lillard should be drafted and in what year ;)

Don't know much about Payne. Only saw him in the March Madness and a few games during the season but can't say I watched most of MSU games like I did with Michigan. He sure looks great, fits our needs and I can believe you when you say he might one of the most NBA-ready players but I have no clue what we could add to 24th. Our 2nd round pick won't make us go very higher and I can't see a team in the 14-18 we would be able to make a deal with.

I see Early in the first post, where does that come from ? Doubt he'll be available at 24 after workouts but still..
