Tonight's NBA Draft lottery: What are your predictions?

Since we're all in agreement here that the draft lottery is rigged. I'd like to hear who you believe the NBA will choose as it's top 3 teams in the lottery?

Here is how I see it.

1. Cavs - even more Lebron payback
2. Lakers - because Lakers
3. Pistons - because SVG, and to further decrease our pick value next season

How do you see the top 3?

In addition to your three, I predict that Utah will win the lottery because the league wants a Mormon star in Salt Lake, Boston will win it because the league need it's signature teams winning games, Orlando will win the lottery because Orlando always wins the lottery, the Pelicans will win it once again because Silver wants to pair Anthony Davis up with another top young guy to increase ratings, Milwaukee will win it because they were just sold and everyone knows the league gift-wraps the lottery for new owners to increase purchase price (same goes for the Kings), Philly will win because the league doesn't want them as blatantly bad as they were last year, and Minnesota will win to keep the Timberwolves from losing another franchise star. Only if Denver comes out picking #1 will we know the league is on the up-and-up.

    IT'S A CONSPIRACY!

1 = Lakers - This needs no explanation

2 = Cleveland - NBA still feeling sorry for Cleveland, third time lucky>

3 = Minnesota - It would help keep Kevin Love in Minni, NBA wants each team to have their own star

1 - Kings - newer owner and have been worse than the bucks for longer, cement the team there.

2- Bucks - Chance to land a superstar, new owners, need to get new stadium, keep team in milwaukee

3 - Lakers - gotta get Kobe a piece for his last few seasons without being too obvious with the 1 or 2.

I don't buy that it's rigged. I think it's probably best it happens behind closed doors but there's a reason they call it a lottery and not a guarantee.

nope.  its an idiotic system that creates more questions than it answers.    Finish last, get first pick.  its really simple.

    1. Milwaukee - New star embedded into team before they move the team to Seattle.  Kind of a Durant in reverse situation.

    2. Lakers - obvious

    3. Celtics - obvious

For some reason i believe NOLA will sneak into three.

    my scenario:
    1. Philadelphia
    2. Milwaukee
    3. New Orleans

    9. Hornets!

    If the Bobcats still existed:

    1) Detroit - whatever screws the 'Cats the most would happen, and with their superstar rookie, would give us the 25th pick in 2015

    2) Orlando - whatever screws the 'Cats, would make the Southeast division the toughest in the league

    3) Cleveland - whatever screws the 'Cats, another top 4 pick to finally get Kyrie into the playoffs

Now for what my dream lottery result would be, now that the Hornets are here:

    1) Phoenix - most deserving, busted their ass all season, just barely missed playoffs, and gives us #9

    2) Utah - they seemed like they tried to win and build the team normally

    3) Sacramento - still won't make a difference for them, regardless where they pick, keeps the 3 best rooks in the west, and it makes...

    4) Milwaukee - bless their Nordictrack hearts

    5) Philly - blatant tankers should fall the maximum amount of slots

    1. Orlando
    2. Denver
    3. New York

It can't be that Hornets' fans get things right, even if it's about a conspiracy theory. There are probably already NBA people watching this topic, looking for teams to pick to disprove this conspiracy against us, so they'll have more room to breath.

If the Knicks wind up with the third overall pick tomorrow night, I suppose that would be undeniable proof that the entire league is rigged.

I don't know about the n°2 & n°3, but I'm putting my eggs in the "n°1 pick for the Lakers" basket.

As a lottery conspiracy theorist, this is what will happen:

    1. Bucks (entice new buyers, possible move to Seattle)

    2. Lakers (rejuvenate one of the league's most profitable, iconic teams)

    3. Sixers (see above; also, the NBA would love to see another high-power rookie go to Philly to pair with MCW/Noel)

I would be genuinely shocked if the Lakers were NOT gifted a to 3 pick.

They weren't the last time they were in the lottery.

FYI on the Knicks pick... It goes to Denver. How great would it be to see NY win it and see Denver end up with it as a big FU to Carmelo and star players that act like bitches to get to a big market and grow their brand. Fuck your brand and your couch.

    With that said.

I think the lottery will be
    Utah
    Milwaukee
    Philly

If we somehow grab the #9 pick, who do we take?

    Hood, Stauskas, Harris?

are the hornets/cats sending a rep in the off chance the pistons fall back? if they are, the fix is in.

It would actually go to the Magic. Orlando gets the less favorable of the Nuggets/Knicks picks. If the Knicks' pick leapfrogs the Denver pick, then Magic would get the Nuggets pick, and Denver would get the Knicks'.

If the Knicks win the lottery, the Nuggets in essence win the lottery. Your correct that the Magic gets the lesser pick after the lottery is over.

Stauskas. Not really much of a competition for me. One of either Aaron Gordon or Noah Vonleh will likely be available there too, and their upside is crazy, but Stauskas is already pretty much there, and he posses all of the tools to be a very, very good SG in the NBA. The kind of guy who is good at everything. He showed off his athleticism and ball handling during the combine, and can run the point at times if we want to go with a big line-up when resting Kemba. Legitimate triple-double type of player, and a GREAT shooter...like Lance Stephenson, except a whole lot less horrible of a person. And, frankly, not quite as big of a ball-hawk.

The Cavs getting the #1 pick is really getting ridiculous, we know LeBron is not going back but there is a certain thing as overkill.

Dude...at this point, I'm starting to think Cleveland signed some demonic pact. I shit you not when I say that it wouldn't surprise me AT ALL if LBJ went back to Cleveland. Especially with the young talent that will be surrounding him. Kyrie, Tristian, Dion (kind of), and now either Wiggins or Parker (presumably). That's a big four, and A LOT younger than Miami.

    PG-Kyrie

    SG-Waiters

    SF-Wiggins or Parker

    PF-LBJ

    C-Thompson

Smaller frontcourt, but Thompson can handle center, or play PF/C combo off the bench behind Varejo and LBJ. That's a championship caliber team.

That is true. That really is a lot of talent, I am going to be interested in the next few weeks to see who their next head coach is. Maybe that wil also kind of tip LeBron's hand.
