Wednesday's Game: Hornets 73, Jazz 102

Last Meeting with Portland: Trail Blazers 94, Hornets 106
November 15, 2015 at Time Warner Cable Arena – Friday marks the second and final regular season matchup between the Trail Blazers and Hornets in 2015-16. Charlotte defeated Portland, 106-94, earlier this season at home. Former Trail Blazer Nicolas Batum scored 33 points on 11-of-19 shooting (5-10 3-PT). Despite the loss in Charlotte earlier this season, Portland is 10-3 over its past 13 games against the Hornets. The Trail Blazers have won seven consecutive home games against the Hornets (2008-09 to 2014-15). A win for Charlotte would mark its first season sweep over Portland since 2007-08. The Hornets haven’t won consecutive games against the Trail Blazers at any point since their season sweep in 2007-08. Damian Lillard scored 23 points against Charlotte on Nov. 15, and has now scored at least 20 points in each of his seven career games against the Hornets. The Trail Blazers outscored the Hornets by 14 points in the second half of their 106-94 loss. Lillard led Portland with 25.5 points on 20-of-38 shooting (9-16 3-PT) in two games against the Hornets last season. The Trail Blazers are fifth in the NBA with 45.9 rebounds per game, while the Hornets are tied for 12th with 43.6 boards per contest. Trail Blazers forward Noah Vonleh (2014) and guard Gerald Henderson (2009-15) both played for Charlotte last season. Hornets forward Nicolas Batum spent his first seven NBA seasons with Portland, averaging 11.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Batum ranks third in Trail Blazers franchise history with 751 three-point field goals.

Damien Lillard just took a dump on us.

And why he was posturing Kemba scored as he lazily went under a screen.

How often there's no hole to dig out of?

That Marvin 3 never happens sans MKG.
Batum tried to stuff it on vonleh or plumlee....batum lost
    Mkg
    MKG the cutter.

We just need to get Nic away from planet Krypton, e.g. Oregon, it is draining him of his shooting prowess
Nic Batum still one of the best passers on the floor for Portland tonight.

Are they showcasing Roberts for a trade?

No other PG of the bench realistically
Our offense sucks maybe its the absence of Zeller and Al.

    And lamb and lin.

And we lose again to another team with a crap losing record.

Double double and didn't see any action in the 3rd impressive.

Batum is a turnover machine, he just plays so damn sloppy, and now can't shoot worth a crap either, he is around the 39% range now

Nic please stop just stop. This is ridiculous

    Portland fans warned us.

Well....... Good news... mkg has 13 points on 5/8 shooting with 7 rebounds. Also hansborough, roberts and marvin were scoring and contributing nicely.

BAD= kemba just not good. Alot of forcing, pj is injured and the main one BATUM!! 1/11 for 3 points and 5 turnover jesus what a bad game.

Don't short Nic on that 6th turnover

When this team gets healthy I hope PJ doesn't see the floor

I laughed so hard after Utah whipped our butts by 29 when I read all the lame excuses made by some of you on here, now we get whipped by another losing team by 19, both games we had a day off prior too, just stop making your sorry excuses you just look like idiots. I've got news for you:

FACT: We are not very good, AGAIN!

Don't short Nic on that 6th turnover

Oops... my apologies. turned the TV off. Got tired of cursing at it.

GIVE THE MAX TO BATUM!!   Playing hurt or not he's been up and down all season and even with all his genius BBIQ and ball movement skills he turns it over way too much. On top of that he hasn't shown killer instinct or want to take the big shot (or ability). I hope he'll turn it on and prove me wrong but I ain't seeing it guys... just not seeing a max player. He pretty much got outplayed by the "young goof" we traded to get him.

If we're just too injured to make a push I pray they don't run Kemba and MKG to death. Not sure if we should stay with the process or call it and make some moves for the future but they have to make a solid decision on this and soon or the best we'll see is more of the treadmill.

MKG back. MKG very good. Didn't even look that rusty. But 33 minutes for a guy rehabbing from a major shoulder surgery? I don't know about that. Tyler plays tough, not pretty. But he was good tonight. Kemba wasn't and he sat. Won't happen that much. Roberts filled in well tonight, did well overall. Daniels is very limited, CnS guy, 3 point gunner. Marv was a stud. Hawes a dud. Frank never got going.

Batum simply is playing hurt. He had nothing and he just had a truly terrible return to his former home team's court.

4 guys are still out. When they are back, different result? Team just can't string together enough road wins to look like the playoffs are a possibility.
