In this thread add  things that are behaving strangely or need to be fixed. Stuff that I need to work on so far that I'm aware of is:

  • Figure out the reputation/thanks system
  • move old draft threads back to the draft forum
  • see if the background looks ok at larger resolutions. For anyone viewing the forum at 1920Xwhatever, does the background stretch? Or does it tile? I don't want it to tile
  • Make sure the signatures are enabled

Add anything else that I need to take a look at, and I will work my way through.

Avatar sizes seem to be uniform for everyone and are no longer animated (in case of .gifs). Is that intentional?

Noticed that the text area in the mobile theme has a very 1996 courier font. Wasn't sure if that was intentional.

It's a minor thing, but I sure miss the "go to the last read post" option next to threads.

EDIT: oops, nevermind; it automatically goes to the last read post

Completely unintentional.

Once I figure out how, I'd like to give the 100+ posters bigger avatars

Noticed that the text area in the mobile theme has a very 1996 courier font. Wasn't sure if that was intentional.

Also unintentional. I'll take a look to see what font options there are for that theme

It's a minor thing, but I sure miss the "go to the last read post" option next to threads.

I used  that a lot too.  I'll check it out, it must exist under one of these bazillion and half options.

AVATARS!!!!!!!!

some of them didn't make it over. I've notice QC Thundercats and Ammofan so far. If your avatar didn't make it, please upload a new one.

Thanks,

Ziggy

In the column on the left is a little circle or star. If you hover over it it will give you the option of going to the last post. If that circle or star is grayed out then it won't give you that option and that means that you've read all of the posts in that thread.

Zig, I was having a hard time reading the posts...kind of small and light.  I went down to the "change themes" and I can read this a lot better with "ips community" but I don't like the colors as well.  Is there a way to make the text read better under the original way?

When opening a thread from the board index, ?view=getnewpost is added to the link. I dunno if that's redundant now that there are other ways of gettin' to the last post, but I don't mind it.

Feel that the forum is bloody white, tad painful on the eyes.

A Mishap which I will fix. I think the conversion got a little weird with people that had access to the site both through the forum and through the wordpress front end... You were one of those folks

Yeah, I agree with Spectre. I'm 23, but the fond is kind of hard to read sometimes, and I'd prefer flat black to the sort of greyish tint, especially in quote boxes.

But that's pretty nitpicky, overally the site is great, Zig.

yes anyone know how to customize either of these two options:

less stark white.

slightly larger font.

Working on an option to modify both. Hope to have an update on that soon.

There's a black, transparent ModeratorCP bar sticking to the top of the screen regardless of one's position on the page. Is there a way to disable it?
