I don't follow the NFL at all but I watched the Panthers season of All or Nothing coz I like behind the scenes types of docos like that one. Thought it was great.

Cam Newton and Greg Olsen seem like great guys. I still don't like the sport but I might pay attention to the team to see how they go this season.

I thought I’d be able to switch to a Panthers fan this year whilst the Hornets suck but when Aaron Donald sees this o-line all our QBs will be broken in half

Potential of 30-win Hornets might seem like the lesser of two ticket-purchase bad choices in a few weeks.

Rivera reminded me a lot of Clifford.  Good coach, really good guy, but not up on modern style/analytics approach.  He'll get a job immediately and make them better right away, might even be a better college coach then pro.  But its best to move on, get a new voice in there.

Florida State needs to be offering $10m per year for 6 years right now.

Holding out hope that Mike sells.

I'd bet Rivera lands in either New York or Dallas. Depending on if Gettleman is still the Giants GM or if the Cowboys fire Garret and Lincoln Riley doesn't take the Cowboys offer

Who would be a good coach for the team moving forward?

I'd like to see Lincoln Riley from Oklahoma but I don't think he's coming out of the NCAA unless it's for the Cowboys job.

The Panthers have interviewed

Matt Rhule from Baylor

Mike McCarthy former coach of Green Bay

Josh McDaniels OC for New England

Eric Bienemy OC for Kansas City

The should go with McCarthy. He was railroaded by Rogers. He is a good coach and will be steady for whomever replaces cam long term

Good coach or not, give ne any argument that aligns Mcarthy with analytics and modern football for an owner that explicitly said that's what he wants.

I have to believe we end with either Bieniemy or McDaniels.
