Dwight's halftime interview was similar to his preemptive strike prior to quitegate @ Indiana.

Think several folks have said it this year, it's hard to expect everyone to play with 100% effort when players are allowed to, if not rewarded PT, despite not doing so.

Clifford bringing Dwight back in down 15 but then pulling the plug with 3 minutes remaining was a fascinating move. No doubt he was pissed about everyone's effort but jeez I'm a little done with Clifford's half measures too.

Denver 6-0 at home against teams coming in on back to backs this year. Its no shame in losing, but if theyre serious about a run the next 2 are essential.

Yeah, but we got creamed by 17

Good chance we lose the next 3

23-30 (3.5 games behind 8th & 9th in the East) with 29 games to go

I can't imagine a much worse position for the Hornets front office to be in heading into Sunday's 3pm trade deadline as far as knowing what to do with themselves

They have already proven to not have much of a plan with building a cohesive team despite all the veterans and high payroll

Correct. We don't play again until after the deadline.

With this loss, things could get interesting. I just really hope we don't have to throw MKG or Munk in a Kemba Deal, if one is made. I still think it would be crazy to trade him but we'll see.

I would only try and trade Howard for expiring's  . And Marvin for a equal value contract. Frank and Lamb if they have any value. I don't want be giving up draft picks at all. Just soon stay pat . Than to make a bad trade,

If we behave to move someone I would rather try to get rid of the "not performing parts" of this team.
In other words: help Kemba don't punish him for not being good enough to carry this franchise all alone night in night out...

If anything is sure its that Rich Cho just gave us the blueprint for exactly how not to conduct a rebuild.

Draft below average and sign/trade for veteran parts over the years that don't fit together = Lots of losing despite a high payroll, guy has been a complete disaster for this franchise and every sane person knows it.

Blessing not so in disguise. If they sneak a win, the fo thinks to improve a flawed team with a flawed system.

Seems to be a confluence of having to defend skilled perimeter shooters and buy-in from lack of 2nd half touches. Miami, Indiana, and Denver come to mind.

Nor is Clifford doing him any favors with 34 minutes/game the past month or so.

Past 15 games Howard is 4th in minutes for centers,  2nd if we exclude Boogie and 4/5 combos. Kinda crazy given Dwight's age and the versatility requirements of the position throughout a 48 minute game

He's the only one with 30 minutes who's older than 25 that doesn't shoot or create for others (showing listed age)

Davis: 24

Drummond: 24

Dwight: 32

Jokic: 22

Porzingas: 22

Gasol: 32

Towns: 22

Adams: 24

Embiid: 24

Horford: 31

Gobert: 25

WCS: 24
