On NBA TV right now Hardwood Classics. Really see if Cliff runs the same offense that existed in the 90s. Lol fun stuff

Allan Bristow running a half court trap to get the ball out of Penny Hardaway's hands. More defensive creativity already. Lol

Hornets pace is ridiculous. This was a 50 win team that ran into the Jordan comeback season Bulls in the 1st round. Tough luck, they were fun to watch

Thanks for the heads up. Funny to see three 3 point lines. College, NBA, and you barely see the longer 3 point line.

Things I forgot.. the Hornets bench used to be on the right hand side of the scorers table, how big the bottom level of the Hive was.. would be great to have a bigger lower bowl again.

Reminds you how great Shaq was and LJ before the back injury.

About the Hive, yeah the big lower bowl surprised me too. Gil Mcgregor was pretty savage on his analysis sometimes, and how terrible illegal defense used to be. Lol

Robert Parish had two big blocks on Shaq too, it was amazing he still was effective this deep in his career.

Imagine that with Kemba, a guy that can actually hit 3s. Would love to see that

Absolutely loved Gil.  He was such a familiar face in the late 70s and 80s for me, worked with my dad at Wake.  Good times.  Still think the world of him for getting us near court level seats before I went abroad in Jan 1994.  Too bad Zo got tossed in the first quarter for double tech.  But still good times.

Here comes McRoberts, the throw to Walker, it's in the aaaaaiiiiirrrr, YESSSSS! Bobcats win it! My my my, Kemba Walker. Steve Martin - Toronto 12/18/2013

Another record Kemba beat this year... by himself.

The lower bowl was so big because it had 4 luxury boxes in the whole building.   That place was built for fans, and it will never happen again.

Into the crevasse!

Oh yeah, if anyone was curious the Hornets lost in OT 130-128 on a Nick Anderson runner in the lane. In Hornets tradition, 1 second left and we didn't execute to get a good shot to try and win the game.

More fun to watch, but typical ending. Lol

I really liked Allen Bristow. Just prior to the Hornets first season; him, Twardzik and maybe a couple others went on a city-to-city marketing trip. I caught them at a meetup at the Winston Salem YMCA. The were pretty cocky and full of themselves but in a very hilarious and self-deprecating way (if that makes any sense). A lot of fun, those guys. They really enjoyed what they were doing and had a great perspective on it. Like many here, I loved that team.

That was beginning of Zo's third year right? What year in Shaq's career was that?

Found a Raptors at Hornets game on Retro. Geiger hitting the floor for a near save. It's probably why I loved his game. Mason was so fun to watch and gasp... had a turnover with five on the clock that most of y'all would crucify Nic for lol. Muggsey was am insane handle amongst the trees.

Think it's a career night for Dell (to that point) as he got the start over an injured Rice.

96 team won 54 games, but the East was super tough back then. They got a 6 seed and was swept in the first round by the Knicks, bad matchup for us.

Near the end for Muggsy and Dell, they left in 97 and soon after that it became the David Wesley/Paul Silas era as Dave Cowens left frustrated mainly because Glen Rice was traded if I remmeber correctly in 98.
