i'd have to really sit down to hash out a top 10, but i'd have to say Capt Jack and Raja Bell as dark horses to sneak into my top 10.

I didn't pay much attention to the post-LJ/Zo Hornets. Got back in the game with the Bobcats, so...

Kemba Walker

Gerald Wallace

Larry Johnson

Alonzo Mourning

Stephen Jackson

Baron Davis

Nic Batum

Anthony Mason

Glen Rice

Al Jefferson

Kemba / Baron "Beagle" Davis

Glen Rice / Eddie Jones

Gerald Wallace / Jamal Mashburn

Larry Johnson / Anthony Mason

Alonzo Mourning / Vlade Divac

That's the best 10 man lineup the Hornets can produce.  Change my mind.

The category he should occupy is top of the leaderboard of guys we screwed over.

Ha we had Raja Bell for a brief time when I had season tickets. I loved watching him play. He was a tough ice cold dude on a bad bad team.

Those 30 faces bring back a lot of memories, but I’m going to bring it down some because I really disliked a few of those guys aka Mason, Coleman and Diaw.

I agree with Batum’s list tho; don’t think you can deny Walker, Curry, Rice, Johnson and Mourning. My problem with the post LJ/ZO Hornets was I never got over those guys leaving. So rather than enjoying players like Eddie Jones, Mason and Glen Rice; those guys just reminded me of who they replaced and it pissed me off. I resented them being on the Hornets. Still do!

I am kind of with you keetch. But things changed for me when that first Rice and Geiger season got going. I feel in love with those guys. They weren't who we lost, but then, my anger was directed at Zo first as I didn't understand the dynamics at the time. And they played so hard, and for this team like it was their own. It made me appreciate them so much more than if they were drafted here. I just wish that era lasted longer.

Wasn’t the Glen Rice and Baron Davis eras just about as good as the LJ era

to clarify, i don't meant to conflate "top" and "favorite". raja bell falls under favorite for me. that man was a bad dude who didn't take shit from anybody. loved the way he played.

In terms of wins, yes. But, the LJ/ZO era was the first really great Hornets team, and they look like they could have been an amazing team for a long time. Once that broke up, it was hard to get excited about them, at least for me.
