Odds:
  CHA-6

  O/U227.5
TV:

  FSS, FSCR

Yet sounds like it's still a Devonte plays instead of Tony night

If we bomb out on this one, someone else needs to do the game thread for away games - VL, you should take it back and see if the luck changed over :)

Here comes McRoberts, the throw to Walker, it's in the aaaaaiiiiirrrr, YESSSSS! Bobcats win it! My my my, Kemba Walker. Steve Martin - Toronto 12/18/2013

First time I've had more hope in the Hornets than the Panthers

You need to create the next game thread if so, my luck would have run out.

You pretty much knew that was a loss with the Bazemore goal if not the shot clock violation. If we don't have any confidence this team can win a one possession game, they are equally if not more leaving that confidence.

This is exactly why as currently constructed I cant see this team being more than 7th/8th seed playoff team with a quick exit. Not good enough to beat good teams and they play down low enough to get beat by the worst teams. A change is necessary

I think there are two discrete issues, one is the general issue with not winning the last possession in one possession games, the other is not showing up for winnable games. On the latter, I hate to ask it, but is this a trend that Kemba doesn't show up for the gimme games? He wasn't on tonight, and likewise, I thought he wasn't in the Cavs loss. Is that the case, is it a trend? It's not an issue and I don't view him any less for it, he might involuntarily not show up for these consistently when his body needs a break. If we know that and plan to run through others in these type games, that it's an easy fix.

But yes, we do need a consistent playmaker number two and I don't think we have that guy right now. If we did, I could see that be the guy we go through at end of games, as much as Kemba gets you to have that last shot in a game, his stature and the refs tendency to swallow the whistle down the stretch makes him easier to defend and flips him from option one to option two or three on a last play scenario. And I don't think Marvin, Nic, Malik, or others today are tried and tested for that role. Until we get a dagger type player, I'd try running end of game plays through Lamb just due to size and ability to get his own shot.

These guys have now shown that they’re not going to play hard on the road against weaker teams. Chicago, Cleveland and now Atlanta. It’s the difference between being 12-7 and 9-10.

Only Frank and Malik showed up to play because they both are playing for their NBA lives...and Marv always shows up as much as he can.

Sometime in the 3rd / 4th, I don’t know, but I thought, this one’s on Kemba; but it was hardly just him.

Taking that early lead...then damn they just let down and quit. Weirdly quiet, low energy game. In the end, it didn’t seem any of the players cared that they lost.

There is no one on this team over 6’-7” who is athletic enough or skilled enough to play any position other than Center. We’re always playing small. Edit - except of course for Marv; but that kind of reinforces the point.

After my last two duds, I am asking somone else to create the Game Thread tonight.  Unless the thought is that my bad luck is only on road games...
