I’m betting my house on the Hornets.

Hawks played last night, we lost to them Sunday.....

Hawks suck

Equals 30 point blowout

I want blood and pain in the Spectrum Center tonight for what they did Sunday.

Run it up!

As long as we don't overlook the Hawks and we come ready to play we should win this game,

I've said that before about hornets games.

Now I don't have any arms.

Or legs.

And I'm down a kidney. It's true that I bleed hornets purple and teal.

Nonetheless, go hornets.

Cody is getting a lot of dunks because the Hawks are really helping hard on screen/roll action.

I almost got free Supremes too but the honeybee stiffed me. Huge letdown. Lol

I don't know what the narrative/commentary was on the game and it was so quiet and undercharged in the arena I wasn't that dialed into it but... What I thought seemed interesting was how much we played to what they were giving us.  I had this notion around the time we began to pull away that if this was last year's team, even a week ago's team, we might have just kept trying what wasn't working but we didn't.  It was funny to see that the less we tried to get the assisted basket, the easier it was to score them.  On most nights, that's not close to true but tonight, we didn't have a position that I felt we were out physicalled outside of whomever was opposing John Collins.  So we seemed to just get the ball moved to whomever had a decentish match up and let him drive the lane.  That won't work on 80% of whom we play but damn if it didn't work pretty well against these guys.  And certainly seemed to have a lot of our guys energized (MKG, Cody, JLamb, Nic come to mind).  So maybe completely misreading into it and perhaps it was just a crap game that went right but I liked (and continue to like) how this coaching staff looks to adapt to what they see and how the team responds to that.

Yeah the atmosphere was a definite midweek bad opponent type but they found something and managed to win going away. And they didnt play their best at all, but good teams find ways to win when they arent at their best.

Am I the only one that feels we're far further ahead than we were last year this time as well as ahead of our record even? Considering we are seeing all 13 guys get real burn and all can drop in and contribute. And all have contributed. That has me all sorts of excited at the potential we can throw out at teams as we continue to develop this out. It's so much more Spursish than VanGundyish and I am digging that.

A lot further ahead bro. We can’t forget that we are playing a ton of youngens and have a first year HC.....

We should continue to improve.
