i think there is about a 90% chance this pick is traded if it does not move up to 1,2 or 3. they have to shed batum salary. or at the very least biz or cody.

If we can finally get our Shabazz, then we've won.

If Kemba resigned and MKG opts in, know hornets screwing with our faith in team, but don't think Mitch can manage cap space after turning Howard into Biz, Miles, Graham, and about 2.6 million added to MLE?

4.2 million 1rst & 2nd pick last year, this year guess 4.5, should be relatively low cost involving sending 2nds for expirings, unless getting longer contracts back and get return like last year.

Leave 2 rosters spots, can above minimum with MLE, but depends on how much money left over after Kemba.  Actually instead of just draft pick coverage, think FO looking for bigger cushion under luxury tax along the lines of some combination that get close to last years trades.  Quick look at expirings, a couple bring backs... +4.5 for biz-plumlee & +2.2 for marvin-lee.

Goga Bitadze. Outside of Bol Bol this is the only big I’d probably pick around where we’ll be picking. First Euroleague Rising Star since Bargnani. Only 19. From what I’ve seen in film he’s a lot like Nurkic. I’ve seen comparisons to Jokic as well. He looks like a fluid athlete, can finish in the pick and roll really well, and they say he’s an good passer for a big man, as with a lot of Euro bigs, so no surprise there. From what I’ve seen, there’s a lot of people that have been paying attention that think he’s a star in the making. Could definitely be worth a look.

After a year of (wfu) underperforming, Jaylen Hoard should be undervalued a la John Collins. And he'd fit in with his countrymen of Nic and Tony.

I am doubling down on this want.  If we do hold onto our three picks (12, 38, 49), I would love us to draft Hoard (at 49) and let him have a season in Europe to marinate or possibly do the Bacon nearly-all-season in GSO thing.  I am utterly convinced that this guy plays a year under a more accomplished coach and more coherent system, he's at the end of the first round right now as a 3 and D prospect.

Here comes McRoberts, the throw to Walker, it's in the aaaaaiiiiirrrr, YESSSSS! Bobcats win it! My my my, Kemba Walker. Steve Martin - Toronto 12/18/2013

Founding, are you telling them to listen to me after my calling "game, blouses" on Collins in 2017? With that OKC pick, that would be a heckuva value.

Kabengele might develop into a pretty darn good player. He looked good at FSU at times last season but really stepped up in the tournament.

He’s more of a late first/early second that I think someone will reach for early on.

How many of these are ending up blocked into the 5th row?  I hope this isn't the guy we've pinned our hopes and dreams on at #12.

As far as second rounders go I think we should look at Darius Bazley and Naz Reid.

Some drafnik guy on real gm hornets board absolutely loves the kid from San Diego state. Had him ranked above zion. Anyone have a feel for him?

I would legit rather just trade the pick than take this guy

Looks like he needs to add weight, strength and maybe get some legal help.

Yeah, not really draft material with that move

I'm not sure if anyone has discussed this, but any chance we make a run at one or more of Boston's picks? Either twelve for 20 and 22 or our two seconds and perhaps a player for 20 or 22?

I haven't really paid attention to Boston's situation, but three first picks seems like a lot of youth for what they have going on. Seems like they might try to consolidate or maybe find someone to stash.

Let's see what happens with the Anthony Davis sweepstakes. (but he probably isn't going anywhere this year)
