Time to go through the growing pains of a rebuild. That includes letting Kemba go.

The long suffering Clippers should be the team Kemba goes to.

You should go warm the place up for him on the Clipper’s fan board.

Don't get me wrong I would love to keep Kemba but I don't foresee how we can do that and win enough games to be a threat beyond being a 7th or 8th seed and always being out early. .

I called last season a nightmare on the horizon after it became clear that Jordan doesn’t believe in rebuilding. I was attacked on this board. Here we are up chits creek without a top 8 pick again this year. That means even more mediocre 1st round picks like frank the crappy @ss tank.

For the love of God - lets rebuild.  There is not such thing as "reload" with the current roster.  Its time for a rebuild!!!!!

You have to have built something in the first place in order to re-build it.

I guess you have not paid attention to the Hawks or the 76ers. They both built a better roster than the Hornets while starting with 10 times less. Going to zero to the playoffs is the definition of a rebuild.

I am talking a very basic strategy here but you don’t seem to get it.

Trying to figure out a depth chart with what we have now is hard. Really wish 1 or 2 out of Batum, Williams and MKG were not here to clear out PT for the youngsters, and man do we need an upgrade at C.

PG - Rozier, Graham, Monk

SG - Monk, Bacon, Batum

SF - Batum, Bridges,MKG, Bacon

PF - Williams, MKG, Bridges, Washington

C - Zeller, Biyombo, Hernangomez

Bacon and Monk need more time in this lineup I believe to see how they'll progress... Just like I was saying at the draft it feels really tight around Williams/Bridges/MKG... trying to split their minutes to see how they develop and working in Bacon who I think has earned more playing time will be difficult. Got to find a way to develop these young guys and help some of the guys take the next step. Godspeed young fella's....

Icky I like that if you flip Bacon with Monk. Monk needs to be the 6th man and let him get consistent minutes and light it up off the bench. Bacon pairs well defensively with the starters in my opinion.

Yeah I'm all about getting Monk up to speed and developing him heavily.   But Bacon is the starting SG next season under any lineup with the current roster.

Yeah I definitely can agree there. I'm just wondering if we might need more shooting with the starters which is why I added Monk to the lineup there (when he's on... whoa. but yeah) Also noted that I totally left Marv out yet another issue in that crowded 3/4 lineup atm.

You can play 4 out with Bacon starting, I think they all shoot well enough to have enough spacing. Monk needs to be paired with Marvin off the bench for that strong veteran voice on the floor, especially defensively.

Plus Borrego mixes lineups better as well so the starters arent as big of a deal than who finishes the game together.

You have far more faith in Marvin being able to affect things on the floor than I do. I would like to think he's relegated to a small ball Center roll from here forward only.

Here comes McRoberts, the throw to Walker, it's in the aaaaaiiiiirrrr, YESSSSS! Bobcats win it! My my my, Kemba Walker. Steve Martin - Toronto 12/18/2013

Bacon will start over Monk unless the latter really improves his handles and defense over the summer.

If he's not traded I expect Marv to start next year.  Hopefully PJ will steal the spot from him by the trade deadline though.

I only give him credit as a veteran voice. Not for any basketball skill at this point in his career. Lol

I was going to say I wouldn't mind Marv getting some minutes. If he's having a good season he could have some trade value. If he comes out and hits 40% of his threes next year while playing strong defense we miiiight could squeeze a first round pick out of a playoff team
