First of all that was a great post and a solid comp. I 100% agree on the Bridges love. I think he's ... Miles... ahead of where Gerald Wallace was and the numbers prove it out. Better FG% and more efficient at a much younger age and experience level. And Gerald is inarguably a top 5 GREAT Bobcat which proves your point that we're on the right track with Bridges.... Just not my FAVORITE.

Crash was all dunks and putbacks. Was disrupuve and sometimes productive but all defense, never really developed a dependable shot. I don't like the grit an grind style, give me Durant over Beverly. He played hard yes, but recklessly and never beautifully. He was a sixth man we paid as a starter, and I always felt that with him as a focus financially and stylistically we would always be a mediocre to bad team. Basically all the same reasons Swedd wants to push Kemba away for nothing in return. How's that for edge. "I'll let an asset walk for nothing... See if I give a heck."

1. Kemba (fine doesn't count)
1. Al Jefferson
2. Ray Felton
3. Jason Richardson
4. Boris Diaw
5. Stephen Jackson
6. Adam Morrison
7. Hendo
8. Emeka Okafor
9. Crash
10. The Slovenian Butterfly

Ammo over Crash.

Wow.

I hear what you're saying about Crash's game, but he was arguably the best in the league at that grinding style of play. He was definitely of my favorites and always made the drive to the games worth it.

I personally really liked Diaw until Diaw didn't like being here. But folks here soured on him way prematurely imo. I have Crash, Hendo, Kemba, Big Al and Jax as my favorites. Raja is right, right outside that pool however. I loved that guy and we did him very dirty.
Here comes McRoberts, the throw to Walker, it's in the aaaaaiiiiirrrr, YESSSSS! Bobcats win it! My my my, Kemba Walker. Steve Martin - Toronto 12/18/2013

I mean it's not really a knock. Again, hes a top 5 Great bobcat. I cheered for him and those challenged teams.

Just not a favorite to watch, that's all. I wouldn't survive in Memphis is all I'm saying. Totally opinion. Diaw was super talented, and creative. Neither was successful, I'd just rather watch creative offense than grimy defense.
Into the crevasse!

I can definitely appreciate that.

For the record, Gerald Wallace is not my favorite Bobcat, not even in the top 5. Sorry. I just couldn't let that stand.

I can see that. There was a hint to his game that he could be some evolved freakish type player.

Tyrus Thomas had such potential man. I was so stoked when we got him..... then....

Also, I loved the Bobcats team with Crash, Stephen Jackson, Felton, Jason Richardson. I loved the attitude Jackson brought to the team. We need someone like that now.

Hmmmm....cool idea

Crash
Raja
JRich
Felton
Sean May? (Yeahhh I hoped he’d be good; didn’t work out)

Was mostly tuned out of the Jack/Big Al years.

Bottom -
Diaw (what’s with lazy French guys?).
Primoz

No feels for Ammo. Didn’t really care one way or other. Dude seemed overwhelmed for the most part and had zero charisma.

While we are strolling down memory lane...

Just noticed that DJ Augustin had an effective field-goal percentage of 56.6% this season, at age 31, playing 81 games at 28 minutes a night for a playoff team. Shot 42% from 3-land. He was a questionable selection over Brook Lopez, but I remember Larry Brown wanting him in part because of the NBA's move away from hand-checking and rugged defense. Brown saw that the league was going to favor small ball-handlers a little more.

Congrats on your season, DJ. I wonder how Ballwhore is doing...
