If you are trading it, what are you looking for and what else do you include?

Holding out hope that Mike sells.

My first inclination is to trade it, and that's how I voted. Maybe it can give us some cap relief.

But I'm coming around to just using it as is. I can't imagine any team would want to trade up in this draft. Especially to a meaningless 12th.

Hope someone with some hidden potential is there when we pick and add another "rent controlled" young player. Maybe our best bet.

My first inclination was also to trade it, but considering it’s the 12th pick and our roster is not attractive trade-wise...I’m sure the team will end up keeping it.

How do people propose we extract Jrue from New Orleans? I’ve seen his name floating around and I’m so down, but I don’t see how we make it work.

I don’t want to trade the pick, just so we can get cap relief and also give up Monk or someone like that in the process. We probably wouldn’t be able to do much with that money anyway. I’d rather take my chances on a guy like Bol Bol and see what happens.

Coby White would an interesting back up to kemba in terms of development. Coby has some size at 6’5 to act as a combo guard on the floor with kemba. I think Coby could be there at 12

I’m open to trading the pick but I don’t see us getting much good from it so I lean toward keeping it. Coby White and Bol Bol are two players I locked in on early in the season as prospects that could be available at our pick. I’d happily roll the dice on either of their potential but there’s no way White lasts that long and Bol probably won’t either.

Trading it. Part of a deal to find a rugged big man who may be somewhat limited but overpaid. Hopefully enough money and he's not happy in his current situation. Would use the trade exception to accept the difference in salary with Nic Batum.

Ideally its for Andre Drummond. I know he's not perfect but he's consistent in what he does. And I don't think it costs THAT much to get him.

If we did keep it I don't mind the Bol idea but like others said, I think he'll rise through the process - I can see ATL taking him just because they have 2 picks and he fits one of their needs.

Can’t say without knowing Kemba’s intentions. Default is taking the pick, however.

I'd get over the Jrue Holiday trade idea. The Pelican's with Zion will be trying to win asap

If we can package the pick for some kind of All Star player do it, otherwise keep it.

They won't know at the time of the draft.

No indication whatsoever from Kemba’s camp is the answer then, take the pick.

With Washington?   What would we have to give up?   That's a big leap and if Atlanta wants him they could just take him with the 8th pick and pick again at 10.

They can talk to him all the way I thought, he's still under contract. If they don't know by 7/1, then he is gone.
