Yeah that’s convoluted. Going back to Duke does nothing but delay the clock on his rookie scale......sans endorsements that go directly to Duke instead

I like it, with one exception.    They do it like they do the Novant Health stuffed Bear they drop down from the rafters on parachutes.

Tac(k)o Fall when we he blocks 3+ shots in a game.

Nailed it

And adding another 1 dimensional center to a stable of 4 is definitely a hornets move

Bol Bol is so weird, I’ve seen him projected top 8 and have also seen him projected in the 20s.

I’m sold on drafting him if he’s available though, nobody else really sticks out to me as possible star player

I dont know if he's any good or where he's projected or any of that, but can he do anything on offense? Or is he a 7'5 Biz

Is it possible to get Brandon Clarke if we trade down or someone will take him before 12?

He looked extremely limited on offense when I watched him. But man, if he's not in foul trouble, does he change how the other team plays.

Tacko is a late second round guy. If you don't get Bol Bol or end up trading the first. I would absolutely take a second round pick on him.

Yes he's a defensive one way guy, and an offensive liability. But he's 7'7 in shoes and moves better than Greg Oden ever did.

We have two second rounders and I think one of those 50 centers we have will be shipped out soon. So why not?

Kupchack was just on ESPN for the combine, and when asked about the focus for us right now and then again about Kemba's situation and how that will affect who we pick, he responded go both answers by alluding to the possibility of there being a trade before the draft.

He also was asked about his relationship with MJ, and he made two very important points: 1) MJ wants to win now, he doesn't want to rebuild and 2) Because of his stature as likely the greatest player to ever play, you would be stupid to not get his opinion on moves before you make them.

Eesh.

I wonder how much of that is telegraphing to Kemba to hold tight, we're working on it.  At the same time, it makes sense, they absolutely need to be players in the trade market.  Now if they can actually play or just end up getting passed out drunk at the end of the day remains to be seen.

As for deferring to MJ, they all kiss the ring.  What we don't know yet is how much they can push back on the ring and if Mitch can do so more effectively than Rich.  Managing up is a very valid skill.  Maybe that was what was lacking prior.  Hoping that is the case.

Yeah, I actually am kind of excited about the prospect of a trade more than picking 12th right now.

My "eesh," was about Kupchack admitting what everyone has always suspected. I didn't recall Cho or Higgins being so deferential when asked... or maybe I just was expecting a little more self-praise from Mitch. But, you're right... we all know that's been the process, but as you said, I'm really hoping Kupchack has more push back than the other guys have.

Luka Samanic showing off at the combine. 6-11 PF is more like it. And his name is Luka.

At 12 I like Jaxon Hayes (if someone dives for Bol and Hayes drops), Nasir Little, maybe Samanic. Clarkes measurables show short arms and small hands - never a good sign. Riu over Clarke.

And oh my God no freaking Frenchmen.
