I wonder how much of that is telegraphing to Kemba to hold tight, we're working on it. At the same time, it makes sense, they absolutely need to be players in the trade market. Now if they can actually play or just end up getting passed out drunk at the end of the day remains to be seen.
As for deferring to MJ, they all kiss the ring. What we don't know yet is how much they can push back on the ring and if Mitch can do so more effectively than Rich. Managing up is a very valid skill. Maybe that was what was lacking prior. Hoping that is the case.

My "eesh," was about Kupchack admitting what everyone has always suspected. I didn't recall Cho or Higgins being so deferential when asked... or maybe I just was expecting a little more self-praise from Mitch.
