We make 2 big moves in the next two weeks.

We are more active than at the trade deadline of last season and something should go down. If I get any solid news, I will share but no way we stand pat through the next couple weeks or so.....

If we do, I will help Kemba Pack for LA.

We can make a few nice moves in the next week or so, get rid of a bad contract or two, position ourselves for the playoffs next year and then build momentum through FA with a shit ton of expiring contracts over the next 24 months.

We could actually be in a decent spot here guys. We are going to have money for solid free agents and have plenty to re-sign our best youngsters to pair with an All NBA point guard in his prime.

I see us in 2021 and beyond as a top 4 team in East.

So, my prediction is this:

-Two deals in next two weeks (Capela could be a real possibility)
-Kemba stays
-One of Bacon or Bridges becomes an All Star caliber player
-We lure a stud (Non Max) FA In summer of 2020
-We become top 4 team in east & play in East Finals within 4 yrs

Happy Father’s Day boys!

Hey I did say that was my opinion lol. Capela is a fine player again just not really moving the needle for us right now. We need another scorer in the worst way

According to Mitch unless we are able to clear a ton more cap we probably wont use the TPE which is disappointing

Nah, he left it more open than that. He predicated using it only if it was a special type player iirc. That's where I thought that of hot clear salary with a trade of a non guaranteed and waive, then you are likely able to use it and still save cash.

Not saying it’s Capela but he will most likely come with us sending Biz or Cody out. Possibly even Batum if we let them offload someone else plus the pick. That’s an uptick

Batum would actually be a very nice fit with them.

CP with Kemba playing off ball would be something

I don’t if you’re being glib Chef but I’d take that in a NY minute.

Could easily happen boys ........

Somebody do that trade machine shit and see if it works.

It should with a few deltas as I did not come up with this out of thin air ;-).

It works.

I want no part of a moody, over the hill cp3 at 30+ mil for the next 3 years. It is gana diop deal on steroids.

And it would be the most hornetsy move ever.

Put it this way, I would rather do John wall, wash pick this year, next year for Batum over the cp3 contract

Holding out hope that Mike sells.

CP3 wants out of title contender Houston, you think he's gonna be a happy camper in Charlotte?

I can't even imagine how much that backcourt would be taken advantage of defensively.

I'm down with that trade, just route CP3 to LA where he wants to be for Kuzma or Zubac or something
