The trade deadline is rapidly approaching, not a lot of rumors been coming out of the Hornets Front office but there is plenty to play with if they’re trying to aquire young talent for vets or move expirings for firsts

In all seriousness, we need to trade our exporings and get value for those expirings. If we need to take on an extra year of salary in order to absorb an extra year that should be seriously considered. I would say that if we keep Marvin we should resign him, but he may be our most tradeable asset that we want to trade.

MKG needs to be gone. Love him but if we aren't going to play him I would rather him get opportunity with another team. Batum's contract becomes more tradeable by the day.

If we sit pat this year at the deadline it will be extremely disappointing considering. Need to consolidate assets.

If we don't trade 1 of MKG, Marvin or Biz before the deadline (if not all of them), then I have no idea what we are doing. As a team that has said we have no free agdncy aspirations, to simply let then expire for room makes no sense.
Here comes McRoberts, the throw to Walker, it's in the aaaaaiiiiirrrr, YESSSSS! Bobcats win it! My my my, Kemba Walker. Steve Martin - Toronto 12/18/2013

Only players I’d be interested in on the Knicks are the ones they wouldn’t trade

I'd love to have Mitchell Robinson on our team though

I am preparing for this exact scenario. This team has no plan for sure

Holding out hope that Mike sells.

Adam, I could not agree more. If we have no big plans for Free agency this offseason (which we shouldn't), we should trade those expiring contracts for players that expire next offseason and extract some value from other teams.

For example: Biz to Minnesota for Dieng and a second round pick. (We get the slightly better player and get a top 40 pick for eating the additional year of $17M Salary). These are the types of deals we need to be investigating. To really compete we need to hit another Graham like Home Run with a 2nd round pick.

i get the sentiment but i want zero more centers that aren't good on the roster.

Some team will need to see the value in one of them or I can easily see this happening. I thought Marvin would be an easy move based on his start but the injury curtailed that momentum.

Marvin broke his nose. That's not an injury from a trade standpoint.

I agree we need to make some trades but if the offers we are getting are terrible then we shouldn't trade guys for the sake of it.

Like if we are getting offered Parsons for Marv straight up then no.

I’m going to hate it if we trade Monk... especially with what I think we can get for him. Trading a young guy like him, just makes zero sense. I too hope to see MKG go to a team where he can be used and not rot on the bench.

I was speaking more so of his play as of late and the injury didn't help matters. But definitely a broken nose will not stop the trade train.

If we can't get a first out of Marvin , MKG, Biz . Monk and Graham . Put me in the camp of keeping our guys; if we can't
get equal value four our guys.

Games like the one today are the ones that make trading Monk hard
