Apologizing in advance for the 27 mil he’s about to steal next season. Classy guy.

Maybe this apology shows how guilty he feels about his contract...so much so that he takes the high road and opts out.
Yeah, probably not.

I'm so satisfied with his DNPs right now. My contract anger was full go the previous 2 seasons.

That summer should have a documentary done on it. The disaster of the top 10 players controlling the players union to not cap smooth and all of the fallout from the warriors super team to biz and Solomon hill getting 60 mil contracts.

Holding out hope that Mike sells.

Funny thing is a lot of teams that are contenders were going to offer Nic that contract too. Nic could’ve changed the entire nba

Absolutely. You know who wasn't, Portland fans. They knew.

Amazing how we have two of those albatross contracts on our team.

Brilliant!

What a chip Nic’s contract will be pre trade deadline next year though.

your mission for the next 11 months is to convince mj that accepting a few or maybe just john wall's deal in exchange for 2021 and 2022 high draft picks is the right move. he sure is going to like the idea of letting it go into the ether of not spending money.

Johnny Wall, considering he returns to 80% of what he was would be a great get as long as they sent the picks. They are going to suck for a long time.

Wall is a culture risk but he plays with Moxie... our kids need to learn that.

Could wall be absorbed into space for this year's and next unprotected 1sts?

If so, do that. Next year either trade batum or let him expire. Trade Cody and trade Terry. Wall replaces Terry.

Wall's injury history scares me. A lot

But I agree Nick's contract will be valuable next February when teams are trying to make space for that '21 FA class.

I've brought it up several times before, but I remember the Warriors and Mavs aere courting him hard before MJ flew out to seal the deal. I wanted us to re-sign him at the time, mostly bc he represented the value we got back for Crash... but, man, no one could've imagined him becoming complete and utter trash.
